Specialist Musculoskeletal Podiatrist D.Pod M., MRCPod., HCPC Podiatric Medicine
Jonathan has now practised as a Podiatrist for 37 years specialising in Lower Limb Injuries, Sports Medicine, Paediatric and adult Biomechanics, Neurology, Gait analysis and Orthotics. Applying his skills and passion for his profession, he has built up his extensive reputation in the treatment and management of foot pain by working closely with many Leeds GP’s, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors & Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Jonathan’s specialist approach has been met with such enthusiasm over the years that patients travel from all over the country and abroad to consult with him.
Jonathan provided contractual NHS Podiatric services for 14 years in Leeds and Bradford and with a special interest in Foot and ankle surgery, he was the founder of The Yorkshire Foot Hospital in Leeds, the first registered community hospital in the country to provide Outpatient Podiatric Foot Surgery Services.
He has worked with the England Cricket Team and Bradford Bulls Rugby League Football Club as well as many running and sports teams all over the Yorkshire area.
For the last 25 years Jonathan has accepted many Podiatric medical students to shadow him in his work, providing extra tutorial programmes, some of these students have now become associates at Foot Pain Centres of Leeds.
Jonathan believes in treating the ‘body as a whole’ and therefore adopts very much a multi and inter-disciplinary approach to his practice in the treatment of foot pain and its associated structures, working closely with his colleagues, this dovetail of patient treatment and management he believes greatly enhances successful outcomes for his patients.
Jonathan has practised as a Medico – legal expert in Lower Limb Injuries and Orthotics for over 20 years.
Dan Broadley
Musculoskeletal Podiatrist BSc (Hons), MRCPod., HCPC Podiatric Medicine
As an extended scope Podiatrist, Dan specialises in all aspects of Musculoskeletal Podiatry, Biomechanics and Orthotic treatment. His extensive experience in Sports Podiatry and further qualification in Musculoskeletal foot and ankle Ultrasonography enables him to provide steroid injection therapy in the management of patients with acute and chronic foot and ankle pain. Dan is a Senior Podiatric Clinician at The Yorkshire Foot Hospital in Leeds based at The Lawrence Clinic and an invaluable member of the Podiatric Surgical team.
Conor Malee
BSc (Hons), MRCPod., HCPC. Podiatric Medicine
He joined the practice in August of this year and has immediately become a hit with our patients.
A very personable, caring and enthusiastic young man where nothing is too much trouble. Conor has extensive experience in the treatment of painful ingrowing toe nails that require surgical intervention. He holds a regular Nail Surgery Clinic twice a week, so patients do not have to wait for their appointment.
With a keen interest in diabetes, Conor now provides patients with Type 1 and 2 diabetes a full lower limb vascular and neurological assessment, including a Doppler examination. Conor is continuing his postgraduate training in musculoskeletal podiatry and orthotics as part of our in-house teaching program.
