Firstly, podiatrists have to undertake a Bachelors degree. Secondaliy, they complete 1000 clinical training hours in order to meet standards for the use of the protected titles ‘Podiatrist’ or ‘Chiropodist’. Our Podiatrist are trained in the use of local anaesthetics and we have a licence for issuing prescription only medicines.
